There are a number of hotels in Garching which are conveniently located one or two underground stops from the Garching Forzchungzentrum campus where MPA is (or a 15 mins walk through the Bavarian fields).

If you prefer to stay in Munich, anywhere in the north area of the city, close to the underground U6 line, will be less than 30 mins away (e.g. Odeonsplatz, Universität, Giselastraße, Münchner Freiheit). Depending on the time of the day, the underground runs either every 10 or every 20 mins.
